New Horizons x Creative Health takeover

What is Creative Health, and how is it being implemented within Arts Derbyshire’s work?

Sharing Art’s Derbyshire’s Creative Health work, with a spotlight on the development (and story so far) of our Creatives in Place project. The session will be relaxed, discursive and will invite discussion with plenty of opportunity for networking, learning and connection.

VENUE ACCESS INFORMATION

  • Our Crafty Place is situated in a converted chapel
  • Entry is via a purple wooden door
  • There is a ramp for step-free access, or three steps up to the door with a handrail. The ramp is wide enough to accommodate standard-sized wheelchairs. If you use a specific type of wheelchair, please double-check with the venue ahead of your planned visit
  • Inside, the main space is all on one level, on a wooden floor
  • There are two toilets, both available for all to use, both are accessible to standard-size wheelchairs
  • Visual clutter is kept to a minimum to help with any visual disturbances

New Horizons supports creatives in Derbyshire to collaborate, learn, and build connections, 3 times a year in January, May and October. This March event is in addition to this programme of events and operates as a ‘takeover’ to spotlight Arts Derbyshire Creative Health work at a timely point, as we develop and embed innovative work into the sector.
