Writing Ambitions

Launched in 2016, Writing Ambitions is our Derbyshire Residencies Scheme aimed at offering support to writers by delivering projects and workshops in community settings. Writers from all over Derbyshire who did not have the experience of running a creative writing residency before were recruited for this programme. The writers worked with a variety of groups and venues including LGBTQ, families, schools, and addiction and domestic abuse charities.

This project was funded and supported by Derbyshire County Council, Writing East Midlands, and Arts Council England with funding from the National Lottery.
