Arts & Health
The Derbyshire Arts and Health Network currently has around 380 members including individuals or organisations from the arts or arts and health sector, health and social care, and many others with an interest in culture in health and wellbeing. We provide regular Derbyshire and East Midlands focussed newsletters, and have held five conferences, the first in 2010. You can sign up to join the Network and to receive the newsletters here.
We also work in partnership with the Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance to coordinate events and training, and to disseminate information across the East Midlands. This includes regular Regional Gatherings (online and offline) for informal networking and conversation, training, and sector support. We contribute case studies, knowledge and expertise from the region to national resources, forums and conferences. The Arts Derbyshire Arts and Health Coordinator is the Arts Champion for the East Midlands for CHWA, and helps to coordinate this work.
