Your tutor, Helen, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “I’ll be guiding you through mosaic-making skills during this relaxed, day-long workshop, and I’d love for you to join me.
You’ll have the chance to create your own mosaic piece. You can choose from a range of animal shapes – a bird, fish, dolphin or elephant – or, if you’re feeling inspired, you might prefer to design your own image on a 20cm square base. Flowers, simple landscapes and patterns all work beautifully. I’ll have plenty of images here to generate ideas and help you decide if you’re unsure.
No previous experience is needed at all. You’ll be working on your own individual mosaic, so the day is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience.
If you don’t quite finish your piece during the session, don’t worry. There will be opportunities to come back and complete it, including grouting, or you may prefer to finish it at home. A bag of grout is included in the workshop fee so you’ll have everything you need.
All tools and materials are provided – just bring along an image if there’s something specific you’d like to work from. I’ll take care of the rest.”

This is a relaxed full-day running from 10am to 4pm.
Our purple front door will be open from 9.30am so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Helen and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 8.
£67.50 + £1.28 card fee. This includes all the materials needed for your mosiac masterpiece and refreshments during the day (excluding lunch)
