What's on

Your tutor, Kay, is looking forward to sharing a wonderfully creative day of junk journaling with you. A chance to slow down, play with paper and create something completely unique.
Starting with a simple window envelope or tissue / cereal box, Kay will guide you step by step, as it transforms into a gorgeous handmade journal filled with pockets, layered pages, hidden tuck-ins and as many delightful details as you’d like to include. You’ll explore texture, collage, stamping, ephemera and embellishment … and for those who’d like to add another dimension, there will even be the opportunity to incorporate stitching using a sewing machine.
This is a day to experiment, to follow your curiosity and to let your creativity unfold. Whether you love bold colour, meaningful words or delicate details, your journal will become a personal keepsake full of character and charm.
Expect inspiration, laughter and that wonderful feeling of getting completely absorbed in making.
No experience is necessary … just a willingness to experiment and enjoy the process!
Junk journaling is all about creativity rather than perfection. If you can cut, stick and layer, you can create a beautiful journal. Kay will guide you through each stage, from constructing your base to adding pockets, pages and decorative details.
This is a relaxed full-day running from 10am to 4pm.
Our purple front door will be open from 9.30am so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Kay and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 8.
£30 + 71p card fee. This includes all the materials needed to create your journal and refreshments during the day (excluding lunch)
