Bonsall is preparing for one of the most exciting weekends in its cultural calendar as the third Bonsall Arts Trail returns this June. Over two inspiring days, the village transforms into a lively celebration of creativity, welcoming visitors to wander through homes, gardens and community spaces filled with artistic talent.
From painting, printmaking and ceramics to textiles, photography and contemporary design, the trail offers a rich mix of work to explore. Whether you’re drawn to bold modern pieces, traditional craftsmanship, or something beautifully unexpected, there’s plenty to spark your imagination.
🎨 A Welcoming, Inclusive Event
The Bonsall Arts Trail continues to grow as a key event for residents and visitors alike. Alongside established artists, the trail proudly supports community groups and emerging makers, particularly those who are under‑represented in the arts or wider society. This commitment to inclusivity has been central to the trail’s ethos , including the 2024 event, which welcomed artists from across Derbyshire and neighbouring counties.

With its friendly atmosphere, beautiful setting and diverse range of work, the Bonsall Arts Trail offers a joyful weekend of exploration and inspiration. On each day there is a full programme of music and delicious food offerings from guest caterers alongside our brilliant village pubs, The Barley Mow and The King’s Head and the The Fountain Tea Rooms.
