PEAKS & MOORS at Creative Melbourne Gallery

The current exhibition at the Gallery is PEAKS & MOORS featuring artwork by a number of East Midlands Artists. The exhibition features some stunning images with a great mix of techniques. This months exhibition includes paper collages using coloured pieces from magazines pieced together meticulously by artist Giles Davies who exhibited at the Royal Academy last year. Alongside him are fabric collages by Zaza Lewis, she combines coloured fabric to create beautiful landscapes. PEAKS & MOORS also features stitched pictures by Alison Wake, felted pictures by Steph Jansen and atmospheric paintings by Peter Watson, Vera Johns and Mark Langley.
The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10-4 and has a great mix of work from original artwork to prints, cards and some fabulous ceramics, metalwork and glass. Pop in for a warm welcome and to enjoy a whistle-stop tour of the Derbyshire Peaks, Wales and Dartmoor.
Creative Melbourne Gallery celebrates it’s first birthday at the end of January, the gallery has gone from strength to strength and is now becoming a destination for visitors to the village pop in and see for yourself!
