We are exhibiting additional work of our artists who are taking part in the Ashbourne Festival Summer Exhibition for the duration of the festival: Painters Louise Jannetta and Paul Freeman and ceramic sculptor Ian Palmer. You are welcome to have a look at their and other artists’ work in a magnificent selection of local art.
18 June – 2 July 10am – 4pm daily, Tuesday-Saturday.
Local sculptor Ian Palmer‘s Working Men Cycle was inspired by photos from the early 1900s of family members and friends in the Black Country. He creates his copper and ceramic figures using the raku firing method.
Versatile Buxton artist Louise Jannetta charms with her clever use of colour and creating interesting textures in her range of paintings, collagraphs and prints.
Paul Freeman, new to our stable of artists, has made his mark with his beautiful, atmospheric landscapes inspired by his native Yorkshire landscape.
We are excited to include two newcomers, Wedgwood Steventon whose work combines photography, painting and collage and Bethan Nadin, PDA Young Emerging Artist Award Winner 2021.
