Whaley Bridge Open Studio Weekend

Whaley Bridge Open Studio Weekend

Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th and Monday 25th May, 10am-4pm.

Come and visit Whaley Bridge this Spring Bank Holiday for an exciting opportunity to meet our community of artists, who will be exhibiting a diverse range of work.

More than 18 talented artists will open their studios and exhibition spaces across seven venues throughout Whaley Bridge. From painters, potters and printmakers to textile artists, jewellers, photographers and stained glass artists, this vibrant, free event promises something for everyone.

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak directly with artists, learn about their creative processes, and purchase original artwork — perfect for unique gifts, statement pieces for the home, or a special treat for themselves.

A Town Buzzing with Creativity

With the much-anticipated reopening of Toddbrook Reservoir, there is renewed energy flowing through the town – and the artistic community is at the heart of it.

Local gallery owner Rob Wilson shares the excitement:

“We’ve had a huge response from our local artists — there is a real buzz in Whaley about this fantastic event.”

Seven venues across Whaley Bridge will host an inspiring range of work. For more information, follow #WhaleyBridgeOpenStudios on social media. Information leaflets and maps will be available soon.
