The latest batch of shows of Derby Arena celebrate some of the most iconic artists of the last 50 years. Tickets are on sale now for five smash-hit nights of music coming to the city in Spring 2026.
London Symphonic Rock Orchestra will deliver iconic rock hits in the most spectacular way on Tuesday 17 March. A collective of 12 classically trained artists brought together by their love of rock music and immense talent, the LSRO reimagine classic hits from AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, Evanescence, Motörhead, Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine and many more. Adorned in the guise of rock warriors, LSRO perform whilst immersed in a candlelit fantasy forest. The atmosphere is electric, the musicians are mesmerising and the supersonic, 100% live, wall of sound they create leaves the audience instantly captivated.
On Saturday 11 April, The Illegal Eagles make a welcome return with their Desperado Tour, promising more of their trademark musical prowess, acute attention to detail and incredible showmanship. This critically acclaimed show features the very best from the Eagles’ catalogue of classics.
The latest all-star line-up of the show, produced as ever by Phil Aldridge, features Tony Kiley (formerly from 80’s sensation The Blow Monkeys) on drums, Trevor Newnham (Dr Hook) vocals and bass, Greg Webb vocals and guitars, Mike Baker vocals, guitars and keys and Garreth Hicklin vocals, guitars and keys. Garreth, Greg, Trevor and Mike effortlessly capture the vocal style and delivery of Henley, Walsh, Frey, Schmidt and Meisner and are all masters of their respective instruments. Following a number of critically acclaimed UK and European Tours, The Illegal Eagles have established themselves not only as the ultimate celebration of The Eagles, but as one of the foremost authentic and talented shows in the world.
The brand new must-see, electrifying tribute concert to Michael Jackson – Man in the Mirror – comes to the Arena on Sunday 12 April. Starring CJ, one of the world’s greatest Michael Jackson tribute artists, supported by a talented cast of performers and musicians who capture the essence of Michael Jackson’s unique style and charisma like no other, in this scintillating production that will keep you on the edge of your seats. Featuring all his greatest hits you know and love, complete with dazzling choreography, stunning visual effects, light show and authentic costumes, this show pays tribute to Jackson’s musical legacy.
The ultimate tribute to Queen, Radio GaGa, has a brand new show for 2025 which will be at Derby Arena on Friday 1 May. Break free with us and shake all over like a jellyfish as Radio GaGa recreates two magical hours live on stage, celebrating the magic, fun and showmanship of the band’s touring days. Playing all your favourite hits including, Don’t Stop Me Now, I Want to Break Free, Somebody to Love, Another One Bites the Dust, We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You and, of course, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Finally, on Saturday 2 May, the international smash-hit Thank You for the Music brings all ABBA’s number one hits to the stage. The hugely popular show, now in its 21st year with a brand-new show for 2025, combines the unmistakable harmonies, colourful costumes, and dazzling performances by our all-star cast.
