Women’s Poetry Competition 2025

 

The annual Women’s Poetry Competition celebrates the poetic voice of Black women during Black History Month.  This year the title of the competition is Women Standing Firm in Power and Pride. 

 

Submission and competition rules:

To submit, your poem should be:

  • Focused on the theme
  • 30 lines or less
  • Include the title, the author’s name and contact details at the end

Closing date for submissions is Saturday 11 October 2025, midnight.
