Derbyshire Open Arts is searching for a Chairperson and extra committee members

We hope you’ll all agree that our 18th event in 2024 was one of our most successful yet and now Derbyshire Open Arts is looking for a new Chair to take us into 2025 and beyond. Our current Chair, Pete Singer, is stepping down after leading our enthusiastic and capable committee for three years and so a new Chair is needed to lead us into 2025.

The role is a voluntary one, involving chairing meetings, overseeing the coordination of the event and working with the committee to realise our vision for Derbyshire’s premier annual open arts event.

We’re also looking for new members or friends of Derbyshire Open Arts to come along and join us on the committee. You’ll be joining a group who are enthusiastic and committed to the success of our event. No previous experience is required, you don’t need to be an artist, just someone who wants to ensure Derbyshire Open Arts continues to go from strength to strength.

Roles and procedures are in place for the administration and smooth running of our event. Existing committee members are ready to assist and guide our new Chair and committee members in ensuring Derbyshire Open Arts 2025 will be our 19th brilliant event.

If you think any of these exciting roles may be for you and you’d like further information, please email Pete Singer at info@derbyshireopenarts.co.uk or phone 07742 589531 for a chat about the role.

We look forward to hearing from you.
