“We want to work with people who are people focused, have good communication and people skills and who may have experience of providing administration support to projects and programmes.”
We are really interested in working with people who can bring their experiences, skills and interests to this role. You don’t necessarily have to have experience in the arts but ideally you will have experience of administration or good organisational skills. Most importantly, you will be open to new ideas, be able to support the programmes and be a well organised and efficient member of the team in keeping records and organisational systems.
This is a new project funded by the National Lottery to bring people together to build strong relationships in and across communities and to support those who do not have access to arts and cultural activities. The project will improve the activities in places and spaces that matter to communities and help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage with workshops and access to opportunities.
We will be working specifically with communities and organisations in both the Normanton and Stockbrook areas of Derby as well as specific groups who are refugees and those seeking asylum as well as projects supporting those living with dementia.
The aim of the National Lottery Reaching Communities fund is to bring together those who have a similar interest or live in the same area to promote and develop positive change.
