To celebrate 40 years of the Leicester Caribbean Carnival, Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage is hosting a joyous and reflective evening which will see the premiere of a new documentary and publication. Poetry, interviews and archive materials celebrate the triumph and creativity of the Caribbean Carnival as intangible cultural heritage alongside its continued relevance as a site of socio-political commentary and the struggle for emancipation.
