We’re inviting artists from across the UK to customise their very own LEGO minifigure statue and have it exhibited in the Wey Aye LEGO Man exhibition in May 2026 at One Strawberry Lane, Newcastle.
Here’s how it works:
Your work will be showcased alongside stunning LEGO-themed photography created by neurodivergent artists, forming a vibrant celebration of creativity and inclusion.
The Wey Aye LEGO Man Exhibition has been making waves since 2023 – an award-winning showcase that celebrates the creativity of neurodivergent artists and people with learning disabilities. From light-painting to Tesla coil experiments, every exhibition has shown that LEGO isn’t just playful – it’s powerful.
And now, we’d love you to play your part in Wey Aye LEGO Man 2026.
Why Get Involved?
✨ Showcase your creativity in a national exhibition.
✨ Stand in solidarity with neurodivergent artists.
✨ Celebrate diversity, inclusion and imagination.
✨ Join a community where LEGO is the universal language.
As Mark Butcher, one of the exhibition’s pioneers, explains:
“The success of Wey Aye LEGO Man reflects our unwavering belief in the power of creativity to change perceptions, celebrate neurodiversity and unite communities. LEGO is a universal language that bridges gaps and connects people from all walks of life.”
