We are super excited to start this year’s Derby Season of Light (DSOL) with a breath-taking exhibition ‘The Hidden Story of Kantha‘ at Deda (6 October – 30 December).
Join us for an inspirational conversation with the Artistic Director and social entrepreneur of SHE Kantha Foundation, Malika Dudeja Varma. Event is free but places are limited, so booking essential!
Be inspired by her story and the life-changing impact her organisation has on the rural women artisans who keep the ancient art of Kantha (Indian running stich) alive. We talk about the modern-day story of it’s global popularity and presence in mainstream wearable fashion too.
