The Art Trail in New Mills is taking place once more this September, and there is still plenty of time to apply. Submissions are open until midnight on 15th June. All successful applicants will be notified in early July. The fee if selected is still £20, same as last year!
The event runs from September 12th – 28th, which includes three busy weekends for the whole duration of New Mills Festival, culminating in the Big Weekend with lots of great events going on in town. It is a great opportunity for artists and makers of all disciplines to showcase their work in windows all over town during the exciting festival fortnight.
Each selected artist will be matched with a suitable town venue (which includes shops, businesses and cafes) and their contact details included in the brochure, which also includes a town map listing all venue locations.
Last year we had a great response with over 60 artists and local venues/ businesses and shops taking part, turning the centre of New Mills into a gallery. Artists can leave their contact details with the venue. There were plenty of visitors from near and far, therefore an excellent opportunity to find new buyers!
