Art is creation. It’s in the rustling trees, it’s in the air we breathe, it’s in the songs we sing – it’s in everything. I am proud of my art – it has a voice. It speaks to me; it reveals my heart and soul. I hope my art speaks to others too – that it comforts and confronts, that it challenges and questions, that it demands all and nothing. My art is my music, my books, my history and the history of others. When you look at my art what do you see? What do you hear? What do you feel? Do you feel me?
I believe we are all artists as we all have the ability to create. I believe anything is possible. When I am not in my art studio, I am reading, listening to music, watching sport and training. I am a self-taught contemporary artist who is inspired by the strength of the human spirit and life.
I now reside in Derbyshire, inspired by the history, scenery and artistic spirit of this stunning county.
