Event details

Explore Tetra Pak Intaglio Printmaking

Tetra Pak Printing is an intaglio method of printing where marks are made into a plate (a Tetra Pak) with an etching needle or small sections of the card are physically cut with a craft knife and removed. Your plate will be inked using intaglio etching inks which will be brushed into the lower layer and the higher surface with be wiped clean to create highlights and mid tones. Plates will be run through a press with dampened or dry paper, enabling you to create a small edition of prints.
It’s a fun and expressive method of working. No previous printmaking experience is needed and this workshop will also suit printmakers looking to explore a new technique.

Friday 5th June, 10 – 4pm, with just 5 places, including: tuition, materials and use of equipment; just bring your lunch.
