In community and wellbeing spaces across Derby, creative practitioners are holding space for others every day—offering room for expression, exploration, and healing. But who holds space for the practitioners?
The Art of Holding Space: Creative Tools for Caring Practitioners is a half-day workshop designed specifically for artists, facilitators and educators working in creative and community practice. The session offers a chance to explore trauma-informed approaches, experience reflective and creative activities, and build a network of peer support.

Throughout the day, you’ll be guided through creative processes that support emotional resilience, promote community care, and help integrate trauma-sensitive approaches into your own work.
