Novel Writing Course (12 weeks of live workshops online + 4 1:1 tutorials)

I personally know the bravery involved in even starting to write a novel.

I understand how it feels to try getting it done alone.

As a result of completing my own novel, I have put together a brand new version of my Writing Retreat novel course online, for access totally online, to enable more writers to connect and get going with a warmth of support and technical expertise to back up their novel writing.

The programme includes:

• 12 x weekly 2 hour workshops through ZOOM with exercises to support: characterisation, plot, dialogue, narrative voice, openings, endings, keeping engagement and suspense, editing and more … and also including:

  • a workshop specifically allocated to pitching your novel and writing that agent letter

  • 2 workshops specifically allocated to sharing extracts for feedback with your writing course peers

  • Q&A session with an established self-publishing house to explore alternative ways forwards

• 4 x 30 minute 1:1 tutorials through ZOOM (Weeks 1, 5, 8 and 11, or by arrangement out of these times)

• Plenty of opportunity to share ideas, write test pieces and discuss issues arising
