Your tutor, Melinda, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Make your very own pencil case to take home! Your finished project will be fully lined with box corners and a zip top fastening.
Do you avoid sewing with zips seeing them as too much of a challenge? On this workshop will learn step by step how to do this giving you the confidence to tackle a wider selection of projects!
This evening workshop is suitable for those just beginning on their sewing journey, and also those wanting to enhance their existing skills.
You can either bring your machine or use one of our machines (first come first served)”

Specific to this workshop:
Suitable for Beginners and Intermediates alike. You will need to know how to use all the basic controls on a sewing machine.
This is a relaxed evening running from 6.30pm to 9pm.
Our purple front door will be open from 6pm so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Melinda and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 12.
£30 + 71p card fee. This includes all the materials needed to make your pencil case, drinks and home-made biscuits during the evening.
