Embroidery Bobbin Roll Wrap @ Our Crafty Place

Event details

The Workshop

Following all the interest from people watching her creating a beautiful Bobbin Roll Wrap at our Open Day … your tutor, Julie, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Slow Stitching is the art of gentle sewing using small stitches and treasured fabrics. During this day of Slow Stitching you will create a Bobbin Roll Wrap using vintage and recycled fabrics, linen, lace and threads (all materials provided). We will start by deciding on a theme for our wrap be it gardening, family, travel, hobbies or you may just wish to collect snippets of fabric that you love rather than have a specific theme. We will then move onto decorating your roll with embroidery and the quote(s) you decide on. I will be on hand to guide you through staining fabrics, embroidering text and transferring images.”
