Cromford Mills Art Workshop

Join our resident artists in the school room at Cromford Mills to help them create a huge banner which will be part of the Derbyshire Makes Festival weekend  – get hands on with arts and crafts including wool wet felting, painting, mosaic, leather and other textile and sewing embellishments.

Meet the following artists have a taster of their skills Mary Macdonald – textile, wet felting with wool. Jenny McKenzie – Acrylic painting with texture. Jo Spencer – mosaic with local materials. Helen Jones – leatherwork and embroidery and textile collage.

Sun 6th April – Painting and mosaics with Jenny McKenzie and Jo Spencer
Mon 7th April – Felting workshop with Mary MacDonald
Tues 8th April – Painting and Mosaics with Jenny McKenzie and Jo Spencer
Wed 9th April – all three workshops, Felting, Painting and Mosaic with additional workshops in
textiles, machine embroidery, leather work.
Thurs 10th April Assembly of banner and embellishments
Fri 11th April Assembly of banner and embellishments and finish.
