What's on
Have you got an idea for a character, but they still feel a little two dimensional?
Do you want to add credibility to your short stories, your poetry or to a novel?
Do you want to create characters with depth quickly?
Ernest Hemingway hit the note when he said,
“When writing a novel a writer should create living people.”
An afternoon workshop of Character Development techniques and exercises will give you a toolbox to develop characters for all types of writing and storytelling.
Small groups with interactive exercises – this is a live group, led by Myszka on ZOOM; it is not a pre-recorded session.
We will explore characterisation through a variety of short and longer writing exercises.
A fun and informal atmosphere with lots of productive writing taking place. Sharing of process welcomed. Sharing of writing content only if agreed by the group – varies from piece to piece without any pressure.
