The Workshop

Your tutor, Sarah, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Whether you’re a complete beginner or just want to brush up on your skills, this workshop is perfect for you. Learn the basics of crocheting granny hexagons with me (Sarah from Ewe Tree Yarns) who will guide you every step of the way from reading a written pattern and chart and the stitches required, so no experience is necessary. All materials and equipment are provided or you can bring your own crochet hook and yarn if you prefer.”

What to bring?

Anticipation to enjoy the whole experience!

Specific to this workshop:

  • If you have loved making your hexagon Sarah can sell you the crochet hook and darning needle you have been using to take home for £1.50 cash only please.
  • Reading glasses if you need them.
  • Please feel free to bring a small, easy to eat snack with you, if you are going to miss having an evening meal. We can provide you with a plate.

What skills are needed?

No experience is necessary. You will require some finger dexterity.

What are the timings?

This is a relaxed evening running from 5pm to 8pm.

Our purple front door will be open from 4.30pm so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Sarah and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.

How many places are available?

To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 8.

What is the cost?

£36.50 + 81p card fee. This includes all the materials needed to make your crochet hexagons and refreshments during the evening. We will be providing drinks and home-made biscuits.
