Ben Sharrock’s acclaimed film is set on a Scottish island where four men are waiting for a decision from the government on their applications for political asylum. While they wait they try to come to terms with their temporary new home. This is a timely release and as one reviewer wrote: “the film is a reminder that the real boats crossing to the UK are carrying real people.”
