Writers and aspiring writers are welcome to join us in person at our One Day Writing Retreats.
We originally started our Writing Rooms through ZOOM during the pandemic lockdowns of 2020. The idea was quite simply to put ourselves in our writing chairs to complete our novels, and we got it done!
We now welcome regular and new writers to use our in-person spaces to get their projects done too.
On each of the Writing Retreat days, we open at 10am, and run right through until 4pm, with a break for lunch in the farmhouse kitchen, or on The Courtyard patio on warm days. There is always coffee, tea and cordials available throughout the day.
Lunch will be home-made to suit everyone’s dietary needs, with our own fresh baked bread, or a delicious Pasta dish with home-grown salads. Everything is made freshly here at Foxes’ Retreat. There is always fruit and “emergency cake” to keep us going through the afternoon!
These days are a great way to meet friends, new and old, with a common passion about writing. We hope to see you here in 2024 – contact us to book your spot, and write the dates on your calendar!
The cost is £35 for the full day in person, including your lunch, with the opportunity to focus on your writing in a supportive environment, and to connect with like-minded people. An absolute maximum of six spots per Day Retreat are available – they fill fast and are often booked up well ahead, so check your diary and do enquire!
*If you are travelling from further afield, please be aware that we now offer Bed & Breakfast, with an optional dinner, in The Hayloft for writers only, around our Day Retreat dates.
