Join Stevie Davies for this fused glass workshop where you can have a go at layering your chosen colours up with textural details to produce your own festive landscape inspired piece of art glass.
During this workshop you will create an abstract and highly textured free standing curved sculpture or flat panel (that you could frame) by layering pre-cut glass shapes along with making some of your own simple cuts if needed. Then add details with rods, frit balls and sparkling SNOW. Your finished creation will be approximately 32x7cm and you can choose a single curved form or an ‘s’ shaped wave.
You will play with different types of decorative glass elements and learn a little about how the kiln firing will change them. Simply complete your design during the session and leave it at the studio for firing, cleaning and finishing ready for you to display and enjoy.
Workshop times: 2pm to 4pm.
