What's on
The aim of this short, eight week, evening course, taught by an award-winning playwright, is to enable students to draw both from their own personal experience and through researching the lives/experiences of others to create a powerful and engaging piece of creative work, in the genre and writing area of their choice. These will include a short story writing, poetry, playwriting, TV scriptwriting and the structural planning and writing of a novel.
Varied exercises and uses of stimuli will be used to aid the creative process, helping students to build on and share their ideas in the group, whilst discovering new approaches to developing their writing.
The workshop is held evening 6pm-8pm on Thursdays – no workshop sessions during Easter Break
