Making Textured Silver Rings Workshop

Event details

Spend a day in the studio getting creative making stunning silver rings.

On this one day course you will receive step-by-step tuition in classes of no more than 2 people in a friendly, relaxed environment. I will teach you how to size and form a ring, and also how you can personalise it by adding stamped letters and textures with hammers. You will learn traditional silversmithing skills, including how to cut, file, form, solder and polish silver to create your silver ring(s).

You will make and finish at least one silver ring on this course, depending upon how complicated your design is. Some people make 2 or 3 rings in a day.

This silver jewellery making workshop is held in my cosy studio within the historic Sharpe’s Pottery Museum in Swadlincote in South Derbyshire. (The postcode is DE11 9DG). Find out more and book your place via my website.
