The Tent People are back with the highly anticipated return of Festival Sessions, the High Peak Community Festival focussed on creating a fun, welcoming and inclusive space with arts, music and entertainment.
Festival Sessions is set to take place from 6th to 8th September, in Hayfield, just off the picturesque Sett Valley Trail, with views of Kinder Scout and Lantern Pike. Children under 16 go free.
This festival boasts a unique sessional model, meaning there are five individual sessions over the three days. You can purchase tickets for as many or as little sessions that you choose. Prices start from just £10.00 plus booking fee.
FRIDAY NIGHT SESSION – GHETTO FABULOUS TAKEOVER
The festival kicks off with a dazzling display of Drag, Vogue and more brought to you by Manchester LBTQ+ legends, Ghetto Fabulous. Expect a journey of sharp choreography, outrageous costumes, and fierce performances.
SATURDAY DAY SESSION – MINI FEST
For younger families, the Mini Festival session is a must-attend event. From story trails to lively entertainment and interactive disco and more, this session is designed to spark joy and create lasting memories.
SATURDAY NIGHT SESSION – DANCE PARTY
Dance enthusiasts will be in for a treat as Festival Sessions hosts an brilliant lineup of Dance DJs, ensuring non-stop beats and electrifying vibes throughout the night. From Drum and Bass to classic house and not forgetting the iconic Techno Ceilidh, the evening will be a journey through electronic sound under the stars.
SUNDAY MORNING SESSION – ZEN TENT
Sunday morning will dial down the tempo with holistic well-being, providing a serene and rejuvenating environment for attendees to relax and recharge. This session offers yoga classes, breath work sessions, and various wellness activities to promote a healthier mind and body.
SUNDAY AFTERNOON SESSION – SUNDAY LIVE
Highlighting the incredible local talent, Festival Sessions concludes with a showcase of Local Bands, presenting an eclectic mix of music genres. From rock and pop to indie and folk, the lineup promises to captivate music enthusiasts and showcase the exceptional talent within the High Peak community.
