Our Crafty Place is teaming up with Walk Wheel Cycle Trust for two special community days filled with creativity, connection and kindness and we’d love YOU to be part of it!
In the morning from 10am, come along to Our Crafty Place CIC, 1 Corporation Road, Ilkeston, DE7 4AS where we will be making a keepsake for a member of the community to ‘find’ … this will be a small craft item, which will be a mindful, gentle activity. It will be made using mainly recycled materials and you’ll add your own heartfelt message of hope. Creativity that’s good for the planet and great for the soul!
While your keepsakes dry, enjoy your packed lunch (bring your own) with new friends. Then in the afternoon, we’ll head out together on a gentle community walk to hide your keepsakes around the town ready to brighten someone’s day when they discover them! The walk will have finished by 2.30pm, in time to go and pick up the kids from school, or get home before it’s dark.
We can’t wait for you to join us! Let’s make 2 lovely days of memories and start off 2026 with a positive step and a crafty heart.
