The Creative Parent Symposium is a FREE event hosted at Déda in collaboration with the University of Derby  

14th May | 9.30 – 4pm

Welcome to the Creative Parent Symposium – a FREE event for artistic parents and caregivers, seamlessly blending the joys and challenges of parenting with a passion for creativity, taking place at Deda in Derby. This inclusive platform invites you to immerse yourself in a day filled with inspiration, featuring talks, performances, and discussions uniquely designed for family involvement. Food and refreshments are provided.

What to Expect:

Insightful talks, engaging performances, and interactive discussions that actively involve children. The symposium’s family-friendly atmosphere diverges from conventional events, ensuring everyone feels welcome. Workshop with Gramophones Theatre Company, and sharing from Adaire to Dance, as well as Panel discussions and participant discussions, make this event unique.
