The Baton of Hope UK is touring the UK in September and October. The Baton will be stopping at Derby and Derbyshire on the 13th September. The Baton will be carried across a dedicated route by over 100 people across Derby. This will the largest event across the UK tour.

Along the route are 8 events, including summer fetes, leader lives, emergency services open day, finale events and also the Exhibition of HOPE at Derby Market Hall.

Derbyshire County Council are looking for local artists and creatives to showcase their talents for The Baton of Hope Derby & Derbyshire Exhibition: HOPE X Market Hall.

Date: 13th of September 2025

Set Up Time: 8:30 AM – 11:45PM

Opening Hours: 12:00PM – 19:00PM

Set Down Time: 19:15PM – 20:30PM

Location: Market Hall, Tennant St, Derby DE1 2DB

The exhibition theme surrounds HOPE, with interest in artworks and activities that focus on mental health and arts for health and wellbeing.

They have a range of spaces available to exhibit, perform and facilitate activities within the market hall.
