This award, which will be presented at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 7th November (details also on link below), is to celebrate the incredible work of High Peak based community and voluntary groups/organisations over the last 18 months. We know first hand the incredible work that goes on across the Voluntary and Community sector and this is an opportunity to celebrate some of the work that is being done to support local people and YOUR local communities.
With this in mind, we are looking for nominations of local groups that you believe deserve recognition for the work they do. No matter the size of the group/organisation, the number of volunteers or staff, we simply want to hear about the amazing work that goes on in the High Peak and celebrate the achievements of as many as possible.
So, whether you would like to how appreciation to a group you are aware of, received support from or even nominate your own group (we should never apologise for being proud of what we do) please do follow the link below to make your nomination:
Crompton & Woodcock Award – High Peak CVS
All groups nominated will be celebrated at the AGM and a small panel of independent representatives will have the impossible task of choosing the top 3 to receive a certificate and the winner a cheque for £100 and the award itself.
The deadline for nominations is the 16th October 2023 so please do get yours in ASAP and share with anyone you feel would be interested in nominating a special group.
