National Forest Culture & Cycling Commission – Applications now open!

 

The National Forest is looking for a Midlands-based artist or creatives to lead an exciting new Culture & Cycling Commission – bringing together cycling, nature and creativity in the Heart of the National Forest

 

Your project could take any art form – what matters is that it connects people with the outdoors, celebrates wellbeing through creative activity, and offers new ways to experience the landscape.

 

Up to £5,000 available (including fees, production and travel)

To be delivered January – October 2026 (end date flexible)

Deadline: 5 pm, Thursday 11 December 2025

This commission is part of the Caroline Scothern Awards, celebrating Caroline’s legacy of outdoor learning in the National Forest – & is inspired by her love of cycling, creativity and care for nature.
