Make Shift is excited to let you know that tomorrow they’ll be opening their new Movers & Shakers Community Fund inviting people from across Amber Valley to share imaginative ideas that they think will benefit the places they care about. They will be giving out awards of between £1 & £1000 to people and informal groups who want to bring people together, kick-start an idea or try something new with their neighbours.
>> Full details here Movers & Shakers – We are Make Shift
The fund is different from most funds, because it is designed by the Movers & Shakers Community Panel, a group of six neighbours from across Amber Valley who have been collaborating together for the past two months to learn, share and make decisions about how to shape and share the fund.

They’ll be hosting a series of drops throughout Sept and Oct to share the opportunity and support people with their idea and applications
>> Dates here
Applications for this round will close on Sunday 27th Oct. With two new rounds opening in Spring 2025 & Autumn 2025.
