Get Ready for Derby’s Biggest Diwali Celebration!

This spectacular event is free for all, and everyone is welcome to enjoy an incredible lineup of entertainment and attractions.

What’s On at the Celebration:

• Live Performances: Experience a vibrant showcase of talent, including singers Priti Kaur and Brij Kumar, the energetic beats of Dholi Amo, Ash Deshpande’s ‘Move for Wellbeing’, the Shakti Academy, flautist Shubham Tageja, classical Indian dancer Ankita Nrityangan, and artists Himadri Bhavsar and Rangoli artist.

Other Features: Explore international food stalls, browse the Diwali Bazaar for unique crafts and gifts, enjoy family-friendly activities, and witness a magical Diwali light installation.

Donate a Jam Jar, Get a Chai! We are asking for donations of empty, clean jam jars of any size to help create a magical display of lights. As a thank you for your contribution, when you drop a jar off at the
Artcore Gallery (8 Albert Street, DE1 2DS), we’ll treat you to a free cup of warming chai! Be quick – the collection is only open until October 6.

Decorate a Jar at Our Free Workshops! Get creative and decorate your own jam jar to be part of the installation. We’ll provide all the materials – you just bring your creativity! It’s a friendly, creative activity for all ages, celebrating unity and togetherness.

• When: October 7-10, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

• Can’t make the weekday sessions? Join us on Saturday, October 11, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Artcore, Albert Street.
