Derby Book Festival e-shot; Our Festival Book Fair finds a new home!

It will now be held at the Old Library in the Wardwick, part of Derby Museum & Art Gallery.

Following the temporary closure of the Museum of Making due to the flooding, the Festival Book Fair will now relocate to the Old Library on the Wardwick (DE1 1BS).
The date and time remain the same: Saturday 18 November from 10.30am to 4pm.

You can access the Old Library either from the main entrance (with steps) on the Wardwick or from the side entrance, which has a ramp for wheelchair access.  You can access the side entrance from either the Strand or the Wardwick.

Please do support the Book Fair – there will be around 30 stalls with publishers, authors and book-related crafts.  A great opportunity to buy a literary Christmas gift!  We will have a Festival stall selling Mystery books, signed Festival books and Christmas cards for Book Aid.

We’re now making the final preparations for our Autumn Edition.  Tickets are going well and we are on course to welcome around 1000 ticket holders to the 12 events.

If you haven’t yet booked your tickets, don’t delay!  Stuart Maconie and Wes Streeting look likely to sell out.

If you need a reminder of the events, take a look at the events page.  You can still buy a Festival Pass giving you access to all 12 events for the bargain price of £60, which is less than half the ticket price.

If you can’t join us at the Festival in-person, you can sit back and watch all 12 events in the comfort of your own home by buying a Digital Pass for £20.
