We are proud to share the news that we have been awarded funding for the Phare Two Captial Programme from the Arts Council of England Investment Fund!
The fund supports cultural organisations across the country in transforming their buildings and equipment so they can operate safely post-pandemic, improve access, seize technological opportunities and reduce environmental impact giving more people the opportunity to enjoy high-quality cultural experiences.
We are overjoyed with this fantastic news and will start Phase 2 at the beginning of 2023. Thank you to the Arts Council of England for this incredible opportunity which will aid Artcore to become the cultural and arts hub of Derby!
Shifting Terrains Invites All Women creatives to apply, responding to the gallery as a space for contact and exchange with each other and the audience to create encounters that result in new, unexpected and unpredictable outcomes.
We hope this residency will act as a testing ground for diverse practitioners and practices, embracing difference and avoiding homogenization to explore new territories, possibilities for future exchange and ways of being with each other.

Cathedral Dove Project
We are so happy to have been partners in supporting this wonderful project. It is fantastic to finally see the doves flying!
Through this ambitious project, we worked with over 30 local community groups to decorate these doves with messages of peace, hope and harmony and to share these thoughts with the wider community of Derby. We have provided tours to the Cathedral with our video community groups for them to engage with the installation and connect with each other.
Cabin Information Point
The Cabin on Osnabruck Square will be transformed into an information Kiosk for the lead up to and the opening of Artcore Gallery’s brand new refurbished space. A huge Artcore Gallery program brochure will be put up in the Cabin Windows in the city centre for local people to see and engage with.
It will display information on the upcoming programmes within the next few months of the Artcore Gallery program.
