Welcome to our first newsletter for 2026. We’ve been busy over the summer preparing for next year’s event. And we’re now ready to accept applications!

The dates for the event are Saturday May 23rd to Monday May 25th – this is the late Spring Bank Holiday weekend. The closing date for applications is Monday 12th January.

We welcome applications from artists and makers across Derbyshire and beyond, but your venue must be within Derbyshire. It could be your home or studio, or a multi-artist venue in a village or church hall, pub, community centre or anywhere that can be accessed by visitors. If you don’t have a venue lined up, look out for our ‘Looking for a Venue?’ newsletters that will be sent regularly right up to the closing date.

If you would like to organise a new venue for multiple artists, you can register your interest and get our advice through the New Venues Form on the website.

Our website is now up and running for 2026. If you want to apply just visit www.derbyshireopenarts.co.uk and click on:

We look forward to working with you for the 2026 event!
