Join Karina, from Whittle & Weave for this full day basket weaving course at The Old Lock Up Gallery.
These beautiful Zarzo baskets, based on traditional Mediterranean weaving techniques, make great fruit baskets or gift hampers.
Working with willow grown sustainably in the UK, participants will learn to set up their frame using a jig, create the sides using the round Zarzo technique and finish their basket with a decorative binding.
This course is suitable for complete beginners and those wishing to learn new weaving techniques.
