Learning Through Arts Online Dance Sessions

In partnership with the Derbyshire Dales and High Peak PCT, Learning Through Arts is developing it’s unqiue programme Dance Interaction (one-to-one creative and interactive dance, tailor-made to individual’s needs and interests) to deliver the work online through the Social Prescribing network. We aim to reach out to people in their own homes who are experiencing mental / physical health issues or isolation to offer connection and communication through movement.

Learning Through Arts is offering weekly online contemporary creative dance sessions via zoom for young people and young adults with additional needs through its integrated dance group Moving Together. The group is open to new members.

Learning Through Arts is working with a Derbyshire-based unaccompanied asylum seeking young person, alongside young people with mental health issues, on a well-being project to develop filmscript writing, film-making, acting and directing skills, and create a film based on lived experience.
