Tideswell Community Players AGM and discussion about future shows is on 21st November!

Can you believe the last Tideswell Community Players production was three years ago? Don’t let this be the final bow!

The comedy The Farndale Murder Mystery was performed in October 2019 to much acclaim. A lot has happened since then. The pandemic for one, when shows were just not possible. But there have also been more personal reasons why we have decided not to put on our own shows over the recent past. But we have had visiting shows, or supported them, when we could.

We are holding our AGM on 21st November at 7:30pm to review the past years’ activity.

More importantly we would like anyone who wants to see TCP shows in the village again, or who might want to be involved in any way, to come along to join us in a discussion of the way forward over a free glass of wine.

We need new blood urgently! Ideally TCP will do a show in spring 2023, provided we can choose a suitable show, gather a cast, director. and helpers. What show should it be? We need ideas for that too!

TCP have been putting on shows since 1930. Don’t let this be our final bow! While we have exciting plans for visiting shows in 2023, we want our own home-grown plays too!

Please come along: upstairs at the new Tideswell Community Hall, 7:30pm Monday 21st October 2022. Find where the hall is here.

If you can’t make it but want to be involved or show your support in any way, please email info@tideswelltheatre.org.uk
