Live & Local – Community Engagement Officer (Rural Hub Towns)
£25,874 per annum pro rata. Fully remote 1,274 annualised hours salaried contract, equating to a national average of 24.5 hrs/week (0.7FTE)

We are looking for someone with relevant experience to join our team and deliver our exciting new project for enhancing community creativity in two of the five participating market towns across the East and West Midlands.

The right person must be responsive to the diverse range of interests and stakeholders in these towns, particularly those less engaged in arts activity. You will be responsible for supporting community groups to initiate, develop, plan and implement a range of arts projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in arts project delivery – an individual with excellent creative and problem-solving skills, a ‘self-starter’ attitude, and a passion for equality in the arts and culture.

Live & Local is based in Warwick. This role is offered as a salaried, remote annualised hours position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project development, planning, implementation and support.
  • Developing the skills and knowledge of the local volunteers.
  • Identify and implement practical networking opportunities within communities.
  • Monitoring projects.
  • Marketing and communications

The right person should have relevant experience of:

  • Working in similar or related environments.
  • Developing and implementing community-led approaches to creativity.
  • Project management and event organisation.
  • Working with a range of stakeholders both professional and voluntary.
  • Practical marketing solutions.
