We have over 190 fantastic entries for this year’s Fringe with performers coming from all over the world. As well as using the printed programme, you can find out what’s on via our website or the free to download Buxton Fringe App. You may also want to keep an eye on this Press page which features our by-category press release guides to everything that’s on during the Fringe. Sometimes things change. Before setting out for a show, check out our LateChanges. The Fringe Information Desk in the conservatory area of the Pavilion Gardens near the restaurant will be open from 10am to 5pm every day of the Fringe and looks forward to welcoming you.There may even be busking going on outside!
Please support our performers and artists by going to as many shows as you can – they have all worked really hard and rely on good audiences! There is ticket booking information on each event listing – it is a great idea to book in advance.
Things kick off the night before the Fringe at our Launch Party organised by Underground in its new venue near the main entrance to The Springs shopping centre from 7.30pm on July 2nd for preview performances, fun and games, all for free!
We would love you to support Fringe On Friday on 5th and 12th at the Bandstand at the Pavilion Gardens from 5-6pm.Performers will be giving free tasters of their shows.
There is also our traditional Fringe Sunday showcase on 7th July from 2-4.30pm with music, magic, dancing and more around the Bandstand. The line-up for this is coming together and includes Edy Hurst, Buxton Spoken Words, The Pendleton Codebreakers, Lindley & Lloyd, the Belly Dance Flames, Stone and Water’s family activities and more.
Plus we hope you will wave us on at the Carnival on Saturday 13th from 2pm. You can even get involved or be on the float – just reply to this email for details.
Please come and see us in the Market Place in Buxton on Saturday July 6th from around 10.30am to 3pm when we will have a stall.
Fringe Friends, committee members, performers and volunteers are also invited to the Fringe Awards at the Serpentine Community Garden off Burlington Road on July 21st from 5pm to 6.30pm.

Please also fill in our audience survey which will be available on the website from the start of the Fringe as well as in paper form at the Fringe Information Desk and some venues.
Look out for our posters on local buses as part of an on-going partnership with D&G and High Peak Buses to encourage sustainable travel to the Fringe. For info on tickets and fares, including some great deals, check out D&G and High Peak Buseswebsites. We are also collaborating with Community Rail Network to encourage train travel to Buxton. We will have a stand at Manchester Piccadilly Station on Wednesday 26th June from 10am to 1pm. So come and say hello!
Local media is really supporting us – look out for Pure Peak’s festivals issue and the Buxton Advertiser Fringe and Festival supplement due out in the paper this Thursday, June 27th.
