New Mills Festival 2022 dates 9 to 25 September
The New Mills Festival’s two week town celebration is starting to come together. We’re now asking for event organisers to let us know their wonderful plans for this year so we can pull together an amazing programme for everyone to look forward to.
This year’s theme is “Places and Spaces” (but organisers don’t have to go with the theme, it is just a suggestion to help with inspiration!). Following last year’s theme of “Home”, we’re ready to look outside our four walls, and celebrate the Places and Spaces around us. Whether that’s a favourite bench in the sun on the prom, amazing old architecture, or a fantastic view of Kinder from the end of your street, what does the local environment mean to you?
You can expect the New Mills Festival to be packed full (with your help!) with community events, screenings, gigs, walks, talks and art. A non-stop two weeks of creativity, family fun and community involvement.
If you’re thinking of hosting an event, or if you want an event included in this year’s programme, you can find all the details of how to enter on our website www.newmillsfestival.co.uk. There’s also lots of useful information on how to make your event as successful as possible.
The programme is already filling up fast especially for the weekend dates, so the festival Programming Committee especially welcomes any events that can be held on weekday nights in order that we can have a well-balanced festival programme.
If you’re an event organiser and have any queries or want to discuss any ideas you have please email us at programme@newmillsfestival.co.uk and we’ll try to help.
