  • In Conversation: FORMAT21 & New Art City
    March 24th – 7:00pm to 8:30pm

In January 2021 the UK’s third lockdown saw the closure once again of its cultural and art institutions. FORMAT’s bold response was to take the festival online and in less than 10 weeks, together with US based New Art City they created an extraordinary virtual space to host the exhibitions and events for the biennial festival.

FORMAT21 Producer Debbie Cooper along with New Art City’s Sammie Veeler and Don Hanson will share the inside story of how FORMAT21 Online was designed and launched from scratch and take you on a tour of the virtual galleries.
