It’s been a long wait but we’re delighted to open our venue doors tomorrow and welcome everyone to Buxton for seventeen days of opera, music and books!
This year, the opera companies have filmed special videos to share insights into their productions, with personal contributions from creatives. Some of the talks also feature cast members and rehearsal footage.
View the opera links here or watch them together on their dedicated playlist on the BIF YouTube channel.
There are still a handful of seats available for events including Rebecca Wragg Sykes, Wendy Moore, Mark Padmore & Morgan Szymanski, Nachtmusik, Freddy Kempf and Trio Rouge to name but a few.
As we start preparing for the easing of lockdown restrictions, we are also working to open up our seating plans for events on and after 19 July. More tickets will be available for events such as A Little Night Music, Andrew Marr and The English Concert with Elizabeth Watts.
Rest assured a number of COVID-19 precautions will remain in place throughout the Festival, including the use of face masks in all our venues.
